Biography

Katernyak Ihor Bohdanovych, Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Radiophysics and Computer Technologies, Lviv National University. Ivan Franko. Lecturer in the course “Entrepreneurship and Innovation in IT” for students of the Faculty of Electronics and Computer Technology and “Research and Innovation” for graduate students in the second year.

Initiator of the annual forum “Innovation Spring”, which takes place in Lviv in May and aims to encourage students and young researchers to test their ideas as innovations, launching those startups.

Katernyak IB is the Chairman of the Board of the NGO “Ukrainian Distance Learning System” www.udl.org.ua, which he founded in 2000 to promote e-learning and knowledge management in higher education and corporate training.

Katernyak IB – IT entrepreneur.

Since 1998 he has been a member of the European Group of the Global University System (GUS).

Coordinator of the international project Training to Teaching Online in Wartime and After (U-train) of the Faculty of Electronics and Computer Technologies of Ivan Franko National University of Lviv (Ukraine) and the Department of Computer and System Sciences of the Stockholm University (Sweden) (January 2023 – at present)
