Опис навчальної дисципліни
The course is designed to familiarize students with the architectural principles of computer systems, the basics of computer electronics, and the principles of operation of computer elements and components.
As a result of studying this course, the student will:
know
models and system of parameters of logical elements; arithmetic and logical bases of information representation, functional units of combination type; types and structure of storage devices; structure and functioning of microprocessor systems; classification of OS architectures and analysis of architectural principles; information and logical bases of OS construction; principles of functioning of conveyor systems of data processing; types of parallelism; current state of architectural developments;
be able to:
evaluate the static parameters of logic elements and their performance; determine the main characteristics of digital circuits; minimize Boolean functions; create combination circuits; test a computer to obtain general information; analyze types of computer architectures in terms of their performance; program in assembly language; program files.
