Опис навчальної дисципліни
The subject of the discipline “High-level computer security systems” is the study of security technologies with machine learning. The discipline is designed to provide students with theoretical knowledge of computer security systems and to teach them how to work with such systems, as well as to develop their skills in the effective application of acquired knowledge and methods in solving applied problems of operating protected systems. The course presents the theoretical foundations of machine learning, neural networks, architecture of security systems, classification and overview of the features of well-known products for such systems, the basics of cryptology and encryption in communication channels, as well as relevant computer algorithms and data processing tools.
The purpose of studying the discipline “High-level computer security systems” is to acquire theoretical knowledge and practical skills in setting up and designing security systems, building security system architecture, and programming secure systems. It is devoted to the consideration of standards, methods, and tools for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure information systems. The course covers modern approaches to ensuring the protection of information assets, with some attention paid to the processes of assessing the security of information processing systems and technologies. The components of integrated information security systems are considered. Some information is provided on methods of counteracting current cyber threats.
