The purpose of teaching the discipline is to provide students with knowledge about the types of CS and modern approaches to the software development of such systems using the Python 3 programming language; mastering the skills of designing CS based on microcontroller technology of the STM32 family; familiarization with the architecture of neural networks for processing and modeling data for CS; acquisition of practical skills in applying machine learning algorithms to CS.

The main objectives of the discipline: to teach students to use Python to create machine learning algorithms for the needs of CS based on the STM32 microcontroller; to provide students with an understanding and practical skills to create a software and hardware complex of CS from the stage of data processing and modeling to the deployment of appropriate models of artificial neural networks on the peripheral (edge) device.

According to the requirements of the educational and professional program, students must:

know: current trends in the development of information systems and technologies, demonstrate practical skills in programming and using applied and specialized computer systems and communication technologies in professional activities; the process of creating clearly structured Python programs for the needs of the CS; the basics of recurrent neural networks; the mechanism for deploying written machine learning models on a microcontroller, as well as other theoretical and practical material according to the course program.

be able to: apply the learned material to create CS software; create and use modern neural network architectures for the needs of CS data modeling; demonstrate skills in using information technology tools in the design of information systems and the development of IT solutions for business development and management.
