The competition was launched with the support of the Indeema company, the Faculty of Electronics and Computer Technologies, led by Dean Yuriy Furgala, and the Department of radiophysics and computer technologies, led by Ivan Karbovnyk. It provided students with a special chance to develop their Internet of Things (IoT) projects and receive a grant to support their innovative ideas.

The “IoT Challenge” competition encourages talented university students to discover their full potential and boost their professional growth in the fields of electronics, programming, and IoT. By recognizing and rewarding exceptional talent, Indeema Software aims to inspire a new generation of IoT pioneers who will spearhead groundbreaking developments and contribute to the advancement of technology on a global scale.

Participants in the competition had the opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge, skills, and creative thinking by developing IoT-based projects that solved real-world problems and proved their technical expertise. Students were tasked with developing a solution and identifying the problem it solves, determining how this technology works with its various components, and applying their theoretical knowledge in practice. In this way, students take their first step toward becoming future IoT experts.

Specialists from Indeema and university professors evaluated the projects based on a variety of criteria, including the IoT project concept, technical feasibility, and project presentation. The company Indeema awarded grants and certificates to the “IoT Challenge” winners to fund their future projects.
