Опис навчальної дисципліни
Issues of interaction of electrons with matter are considered; characteristics of the electron beam; structure and principles of lens operation; principles of operation of electron microscopes in different modes;
principles of formation and processing of images obtained in an electron microscope; methods of sample preparation for electron microscopic studies.
The purpose of teaching the academic discipline is the formation of students’ knowledge and practical skills in working with electron microscopes. The task: to teach students the basics of the operation of transmission and scanning microscopes, understanding the requirements for objects that can be studied in electron microscopes, methods of processing and principles of interpretation of the results of electron microscopic studies.
