The course develops the following general competencies:

General competencies:

GC1. Ability to exercise their rights and responsibilities as a member of society, to realize the values of civil (free democratic) society, the rule of law, human and civil rights and freedoms in Ukraine.

GC3. Ability to learn and master modern knowledge.

GC4. Ability to work in a team.

GC5. Ability to be critical and self-critical.

GC10. Ability to act on the basis of ethical considerations (motives).

GC11. Ability to make informed decisions.

GC12. Skills of interpersonal interaction.

GC13. Ability to generate new ideas (creativity).

Programmatic learning outcomes (PLOs), which are aimed at achieving the course:

PLO2. To know the patterns of development and formation of the personality as a unity of physical and spiritual being, its worldview possibilities of (self) realization.

PLO3. To know and understand the principles, forms, methods of understanding philosophy as a universal worldview knowledge.

PLO5. To be able to operate with the basic categories and concepts of the discipline.

PLO6. To be able to use the tools of a democratic state governed by the rule of law in professional and social activities.

PLO12. To realize the value of protecting the independence, territorial integrity and democratic system of Ukraine.

PLO22. Understand the place and importance of philosophy in the general system of knowledge about nature and society in the context of the historical development of society, technology and technology.
