Опис навчальної дисципліни
Summary of the subject:
The following concepts are considered: forms of information representation; logical foundations of the construction of elements; integrated systems of elements; computer electronics and circuitry: digital elements, combinational units, digital nodes, analog nodes, service elements, combinational units; power supplies; digital computers; storage devices; processors; MP support schemes on system boards; supercomputers; parallel computer systems; universal microprocessors; structures of microprocessor systems; RISC processors; superscalar microprocessors with RISC architecture.
As a result of studying this course, the student should
know:
the relevance of studying computer electronics and computer architecture;
models and methods of representing, processing and storing information;
architecture, element base and circuitry of computers.
be able to:
classify and solve problems related to computer architecture;
apply knowledge of the basics of computer architecture in the process of substantiating the technical support of information systems;
use hardware of modern information processing systems and computer systems for various purposes.
