A scientist of the Faculty of Electronics and Computer Technologies was awarded the Prize of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine for young scientists

Young scientists of the Faculty of Electronics and Computer Technologies of the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv continue to demonstrate significant results of scientific research and receive the highest state recognition. Following the recent awarding of the Prize of the President of Ukraine for young scientists, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine published the Resolution “On awarding the Prize of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine to young scientists for 2021”. According to the document of high recognition, four scientific works of young scientists of Lviv University were awarded, the development of which involved five researchers – representatives of the biological, physical, chemical faculties and the faculty of electronics and computer technologies.

Thus, the Prize of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine was awarded for the work “Multifunctional glassy media with rare earth activators for modern IR photonics” to Yaroslav Shpotyuk, a senior researcher at the Sensor and Semiconductor Electronics Department of the Faculty of Electronics and Computer Technology.
