Опис навчальної дисципліни
Modern trends in the development of science and technology in the field of practical electrodynamics require a deeper understanding of the electrical and magnetic properties of media useful for practical use.
The subject of the course “Electromagnetic Field Theory” is electromagnetic phenomena and wave processes that underlie modern electronics. As a result of studying the course, students expand and deepen their understanding of the properties of the electromagnetic field in vacuum and matter, form a holistic picture of physical phenomena associated with the classical electromagnetic field. The main focus is on stationary fields, which, by definition, are independent of time, as well as the study of electromagnetic waves and phenomena at the boundary of media, as well as in guide systems and resonators.
