The course is aimed at developing the necessary knowledge and integrated skills in professional and academic English for successful oral and written communication among students of the Master’s program. The course uses a variety of methods for conducting practical classes and independent work of students.
The general educational purpose of the elective course “Foreign Language (English, C1 level) for Professional Purposes” is to further the student’s intellectual development, broaden his/her horizons, deepen knowledge in the field of professional disciplines, develop skills and abilities to communicate with colleagues, exchange information and opinions in professional and educational fields in a foreign language. The practical learning objectives are to provide students with knowledge of the functioning of a foreign language (English) as a means of communication in oral and written forms in professional and educational environments. The educational goal is to develop students’ culture of communication in the global educational and professional space.
