LEVEL OF SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE FORMATION

Content of skills provided
1. Ability to explain the principles and features of mechanical and acoustic simple and intelligent sensors; solve practical problems related to their development.
2. Ability to explain the principles and features of electrical, electromagnetic simple and intelligent sensors; solve practical problems related to their development.
3. Mastering a wide range of element base of intelligent sensors; familiarization with the directions of their further development.

INDEPENDENT WORK OF THE STUDENT

(full-time form of study)
To consolidate the theoretical material, prepare for laboratory work, students are given the opportunity to use the libraries of the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv, as well as Internet resources in the relevant departmental computer classes. Students have the opportunity to get advice on the discipline from the lecturer and teachers who conduct laboratory classes.

Summary of the subject:

The purpose of this discipline is to form in students a set of knowledge, skills and abilities necessary for solving theoretical and practical problems that arise in the design and practical application of modern intelligent sensor systems.

Objectives: to familiarize students with the modern base of intelligent sensor systems of various types, physical principles of their operation and examples of application. The approaches to the design of intelligent sensor systems are outlined, practical recommendations for the development of their software are given, and the principles of design are revealed. The directions of further development of intelligent sensor systems are outlined.

Learning outcomes:

the design, main characteristics and features of modern intelligent sensor systems; the main stages of designing intelligent sensor systems and developing their software, directions for further development.
