Research interests

methods, theoretical and practical aspects of diagnostics of electric circuits on computers; development of electronic devices using microcontrollers, microprocessors, microcomputers (temperature regulators, pulse meters, microprocessor systems for monitoring of environmental parameters, microprocessor systems for photonics), FPGAs (components of neural networks, FIR digital filters, synchronous detectors); forecasting of time series using ARIMA- and ARFIMA-models, neural networks.

Biography

Rabyk Vasyl (14.04.1957, village Nikolaevka, Smidovichsky district of the Khabarovsk Krai of the Russian Federation) – radiophysicist, PhD. In 1974 graduated from Saranchuky school in the Berezhany district of the Ternopil region and enrolled in the Faculty of Physics at the Ivan Franko Lviv University, graduating in 1979 with the Master’s degree of Radiophysics. In 1989 defended the PhD thesis entitled “Diagnostics multi-test method of electrical circuits by means of identification of measured nodal potentials” at the Institute of Electrodynamics of the USSR Academy of Science (Kyiv). From 1979 to 1999, works as an engineer, junior researcher, researcher, senior research at the Department of Theoretical Foundations of Electro-radio Engineering and the Department of Radiophysics. Since 1999, works as assistant, and since 2003, assistant professor of the Department of Radiophysics and Department of Radiophysics and Computer Technologies at the Faculty of Electronics, and since 2016, at the Faculty of Electronics and Computer Technologies
