In 1977, she graduated from the Faculty of Physics at the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv.

In 1988, she defended her PhD thesis on “Luminescence and color centers of calcium-gallium-germanium garnet crystals”.

In 2000, she was promoted to the rank of Senior Researcher, and in 2005, she was promoted to Associate Professor of the Department of Electronics.

During 1977 – 99 she worked as an engineer, junior researcher, researcher, senior researcher at the Research Center of Lviv University, and was a corresponding executor of state budget projects.

2000 – 2001 – assistant professor at the Department of Physical Semiconductors.

2002 – Assistant Professor of the Department of Electronics, Lviv National University.

Since 2003 – Associate Professor of the Department of Sensor and Semiconductor Electronics.
