Industrial (pre-diploma) practice is an important component of the educational program of training for the educational and qualification degree “master” in specialty 176 – Micro- and nanosystem engineering. It provides students with the consolidation of theoretical knowledge and practical skills acquired during the study of academic disciplines, as well as the preparation of a master’s qualification thesis. In particular, the curriculum for second degree holders of higher education (master’s degree) studying at the Faculty of Electronics and Computer Technologies of the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv under the educational program “Devices and materials of sensor electronics” in the specialty 176 – Micro- and nanosystem engineering, fields of knowledge 17 – Electronics, automation and electronic communications, industrial practice with a total duration of 270 hours is provided. This internship is held in the third semester for six calendar weeks. Two specialized departments of the faculty are responsible for the practice: the department of sensor and semiconductor electronics and physical and biomedical electronics. The specific terms of practice are established annually based on the schedule of the educational process approved by our university. Practice ends with a differentiated assessment.
