Biography

He was born on November 18, 1940 in Lviv. In 1958, he entered the first year of the Faculty of Automation and Semiconductor Electronics of the Lviv Polytechnic Institute, graduating in 1963 with a degree in Electrical Measurements. From September 1963 to August 1967, he worked as an engineer, senior engineer, lead engineer and team leader at the Termopribor Design Bureau (Lviv). Since 1967, he worked as an assistant at the Department of Theoretical Foundations of Electrical and Radio Engineering, senior lecturer (since 1974), and associate professor (since 1976) at Ivan Franko National University of Lviv.

In 1973, he received his PhD in Engineering, and in 1980 he was promoted to Associate Professor.
